On 22nd June, over 260 Portico People attended our Annual Conference, held at our new home on Gray’s Inn Road.
Our people enjoyed inspiring conversations with our senior leadership at the ‘Directors’ Coffee Morning’ and motivating round- table discussions on personal development, led by our Talent Team and Senior Operations Manager, as well as our ‘CV clinic’ in support of personal branding and internal promotions.
Workshops included roundtables in the topics of diversity, sustainability and Portico benefits in our People Hub. Uniform and styling discussions were hosted by our partner, Charlotte Stiffell, and wellbeing and a balanced lifestyle was a hot topic with our personal trainer and coach, Ollie from The Lifestyle Fix. Capturing our commitment to inspiring service moments, our people reviewed best practice through the Penshee experience audit and engaged with our Residential Concierge team to hear inspiring service moments from the world of London’s most luxurious residences.
Looking after Portico People during the day was the exceptional chef team of BaxterStorey, led by Executive Chef Chris Ribaudo, who served a wonderful breakfast, fantastic Hound Dog lunch, a gorgeous afternoon tea and BaxterStorey’s famous Bahn-mi street food concept for the evening reception. Coffee was created by the Barista Champions of our sister brand with Don Altizo’s special Espresso Martinis welcoming our clients for the evening drinks reception.

We were honoured to welcome our special guests from Guide Dogs for the Blind. We are about to cross the finish line of our grand fundraising partnership for the Portico Puppy.
The Portico team are on target to raise £50,000 to cover the lifetime training and care costs for a guide dog through the incredible journey from a six-week-old bundle of fur to fully-qualified service dog.
Aptly name the ‘Portico Puppy’, our 750-strong team have raised an astonishing £48,610 by donating their personal time and dedicating their individual talents.
Through the Annual Conference charity raffle, we collected another £230 towards our goal and Portico People made their commitment to further fundraising activities through the next three months.
